Two of my favorite things in one: engagement sessions and Disney! Mike & Kathy are the cutest. Just look at them!! Their love for one another radiates when they are together and definitely shines in their photos. We decided to shoot on a Wednesday and started when the park opened to avoid really long lines and hot heat… we still got both! But that didn’t stop us from getting these fun shots, of course. We ran around the park finding as many uncrowded areas as we could. We rode a few rides like the carousal, the people mover, and ariel’s undersea adventure to cool off (and for cute photo ops)! Mike handcrafted Kathy’s engagement ring himself. How cool is that! It is so beautiful and unique – it definitely suits them both. Mike and Kathy are photographers based in South Florida, running K Ro Photography. Look them up – absolutely amazing! I love getting to photograph other photographers, it’s always an honor. They were a blast to work with. I am so glad I got to capture these magical memories for Mike & Kathy and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in November!

And you don’t know why
But you’re dying to try
You wanna kiss the girl”

I LOVED shooting this engagement session for Ricky & Brynlee. Brynlee and I have been in contact for months planning this session. It had been rescheduled multiple times for various reasons, most of the time because of the weather. This couple could not catch a break! But, I always say everything happens for a reason. Their reason was simply just because we were given the most beautiful day ever for their session (finally!) We shot at one of my dream locations, Treaty Oak in Jacksonville. This tree is incredible… I have never seen anything like it before. It is estimated to be 250 years old. It made the perfect backdrop for their lovely, relaxed session. For their second outfit, Ricky and Brynlee looked stunning! They dressed up and we headed to our second location – a little courtyard in East San Marco to add a little bit of an urban look. They were completely natural in front of the camera and made my “job” so easy.

It was here, in his arms.”
